I was looking at the qualification tables for the various continental soccer federations and I have to admit that I’m quite surprised at many of the standings. Let’s just say that there are a lot of countries that you’d expect to make it through might not be down in South Africa in 2010. How are some of the countries in UEFA, CONCACAF, and other federations doing? And how the heck does the qualifying process work for the World Cup anyway?
